Anyone got the 'I'm Broken' guitar tab?

The main progression is really cool! It revolves around Em, C, and G. If you get those down, you’re halfway there!

Nice! Are there any specific strumming patterns you recommend for these chords?

For the strumming pattern, try a down-up pattern with emphasis on the downstrokes. It gives that heavy feel during the chorus!

I found that mixing in some palm muting on the verses adds a nice touch! Just keep it tight and steady.

That sounds great! Anyone incorporate fingerpicking too? I’d love to hear how it’s done.

Fingerpicking is definitely an option! I usually pick the bass note first, followed by the higher strings for a fuller sound.

That makes sense! What about the tempo? Is it faster than it sounds?

It’s moderate but feels faster with the rhythm. Just practice it slowly at first!

Good point! I struggle with getting that rhythm down. Any tips?

Try using a metronome! It helps build your timing. Plus, it can be a little fun to challenge yourself!

Haha, but do remember to keep it entertaining! Nobody wants to sound like a robot.

So true! Music is all about expression. What about the solo? Is it tricky?

The solo has some fast licks, but just practice the sections slowly and build up speed. You’ll get there!

Thanks for the encouragement! I’m eager to give it a try. I’ll share my progress!

Hey everyone! I’m also looking for the ‘I’m Broken’ tab. I heard it’s challenging but rewarding. Anyone got tips?

Try breaking it down into sections! Practice each part slowly before piecing them together. It really helps!

Great advice, mvelasquez! Using a metronome is also key. Start slow and gradually speed up as you get more comfortable.

Thanks for the metronome tip! Should I just set it to a really slow tempo?

Absolutely! It’s better to play it correctly at a slow tempo than to rush through mistakes.

And don’t forget ear training! Try to play along with the song after you’ve gotten the notes down. It helps with timing and feel.
