I’m on the hunt for sheet music for Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 3 and hoping someone here can point me in the right direction! Whether you’re a fellow musician or a teacher, your insights would be greatly appreciated.
What I’m Looking For
Specific Edition: I’m looking for either a printed version or a reliable digital copy.
Study Materials: Any recommendations for editions that come with notes or analysis? I’d love to have something that breaks down tricky sections.
Performance Tips: If you’ve performed this concerto, any tips on how to tackle the more challenging passages?
Where I’ve Looked
I’ve checked a few websites like IMSLP, but I’m not sure about the quality of some of the scores I found. Also, I’ve visited a couple of local music stores, but they don’t have it in stock.
About Me
I’m an intermediate-level violinist and currently preparing for an upcoming recital. I want to make sure I’m practicing with good material, so any help would really mean a lot to me!
I’ve used the Peters edition too, but I found it less accessible for beginners. Sometimes, simpler arrangements help to grasp the nuances of the piece.
