For beginners, it’s good to check if your DAW recognizes the cable easily. I had some issues with a cheaper brand once. Just a thought!

Nice to see so many recommending different brands! I’ve always gone for the Behringer cables, mainly for their budget-friendly pricing. They do a decent job for the cost!
Behringer is hit or miss. I had one that fizzled out too soon. Maybe it was just bad luck?
Honestly, I think you’ll want to consider the length of the cable too. Short cables might limit your setup options. Just some food for thought!

What about using USB B to MIDI adapters? Any thoughts if they are as reliable as direct cables? I’m weighing my options here.
I’ve used them, but I find direct cables usually have less latency. Maybe distance is key here?

I actually think the key is in your gear’s compatibility. If it connects well, it doesn’t really matter which method you choose. Just glad we have options!
