That’s reassuring! Has anyone experienced a breakdown during a performance? That would be terrifying!
Thankfully, I haven’t had any major issues during gigs. Just a few squeaks now and then. I usually just grease it a bit and it’s fine again!

Greasing sounds like a simple fix! If only fixing life’s problems were that easy!

I’ve had great luck integrating the Alesis pedal hi-hat with my Roland TD-27. The setup was straightforward, and the response feels pretty natural when playing.
What firmware version are you using? I’ve heard that some updates improve the integration even further.
The Alesis pedal works fine with my Yamaha DTX482K, but you need to tweak the sensitivity settings a bit. It’s worth the slight hassle!

I had a frustrating time setting it up with my older kit. The compatibility wasn’t obvious at first, but once I figured it out, it worked beautifully.

I use it with a few different kits, and it’s been pretty smooth overall. The biggest benefit is how it feels like an acoustic hi-hat, very responsive!

Yes, it does! I was surprised by how well it translates to softer play. I did chuckle at my cat’s reaction though; he jumped every time I hit it!
